Concord Real Estate

Concord was originally referred to as Musketaquid meaning “grassy plain.” Nowadays it is well known from near and far for the “Concord Grape.” Like other towns nearby, Concord has a great history starting with the Battle of Lexington and Concord and then later transforming into a literary center with writers including Henry David Thoreau and Louisa May Alcott having resided there.

Today, Concord center is still a popular destination for town residents. Full of services, restaurants, shopping and the famous Colonial Inn which is thought to be haunted. Whether you are in the old town center or West Concord, you will find quaint mom and pop shops in buildings that maintain their quaint and beautiful charm.

Similar to nearby towns in the area, Concord has done a great job in preserving its environment from development of too many homes to commercial retailers.
